X-Tractor Privacy Policy

Local processing
When you request an extraction, X-Tractor reads content already displayed in the active X tab. Depending on the selected mode, this may include a tweet, an article or visible thread posts, with their authors, dates, links, media references and available statistics.
The extension processes this content in your browser to create a preview and exports. It does not send extracted content to its developer, an AI provider or another service.
This local processing includes website content, source URLs and author names or usernames. It does not read your browser's global history. X-Tractor uses this data only to provide the export you request, in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. It does not sell this data, use it for advertising or use it for credit or lending decisions.
Copying and downloads
Copy writes the selected export to your system clipboard. Download buttons create Markdown, plain text or JSON files using your browser. You control subsequent use, sharing and deletion of these files and clipboard content.
Export options let you filter optional fields or select visible thread posts. They do not anonymize the source: identity may remain in titles, URLs and filenames. Source identity and extraction limits are retained.
Temporary settings
The extracted result, language selection, export options, post selection and custom prompt are kept only while the popup is open. They are not saved in browser storage or an extraction history. Closing the popup clears this temporary state.
Copy templates prepare text locally. They do not contact an AI service or require an API key.
Permissions
activeTab provides temporary access to the active tab following your action. scripting runs the extraction function in that tab. X-Tractor does not request permanent access to all websites.
Network and tracking
The extension does not make extraction requests to X APIs, download media, execute remote code or include advertising, analytics or telemetry. X’s own operation and your browser’s operation remain separate from the extension.
Sensitive content
An export can contain information from posts you can access. Review it before sharing. The extension does not determine whether the source is confidential.
Contact and changes
Contact peiks.dev@gmail.com or read the support instructions. Emailing support is a separate voluntary action: your message and attachments are handled by the email service for support purposes. Do not include secrets or private exports. You can request deletion of your support exchange. Any future change to data processing must be reflected in this policy.
